Being worried and anxious can effect our whole lives. It may mean that we start to complete rituals (e.g. turning light switches on and off) to combat this anxiousness or it may mean that we avoid things (e.g. going to school or work) and stop doing things we previously enjoyed (e.g. social activities like clubs or hobbies). Similarly, if we feel low it might be difficult to get out of bed or be active. We might feel different to others, like we don’t fit in or we are not good enough. We may also be experiencing urges to self-harm or be having suicidal thoughts. Together, we can explore these thoughts and investigate how they link to our feelings and subsequent actions. We can then start to outline a plan on how we can change things and how this could help us to feel better.
I am a specialist Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Psychotherapist. I have worked with children, young people and adults who present with a range of issues, specialising on all types of anxieties, OCD, phobias, trauma and depression. I also specialise in neurodiversity including autism and ADHD. During therapy, we will work together to explore issues and I will use a range of methods to help as much as I can. As well as talking about things you find difficult we will explore your strengths and positives in your life.

I have a degree in Psychology, am a qualified primary school teacher, have a masters in counselling children and young people and a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (UCL). I have worked with young people experiencing difficulties with ADHD, anxiety, Autism, depression, identity, obsessions, relationships, self-esteem, self-harm, stress, trauma.
I am an integrative psychotherapist offering 1-1 sessions for children, young people and adults. I offer a calm supportive environment and will work with you so you feel as comfortable as possible. I use a range of methods in order to help including person-centred, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Creative methods.
